Great Hearted Posters

Poster Project

GREAT-HEARTED STUDENT OF THE WEEK

Our class will be celebrating a Great-Hearted classmate each week. This is your child's opportunity to share a bit about themselves and what they have done in their community to exhibit their great-hearted nature.

This is a two part project for your child.
They must:
1. Complete a great-hearted activity or activities (not typical chores)
2. Create a poster to show the class how they have made a positive impact in their community.

 Ideas for Great-Hearted Activities:

* care for a neighbor's pet while they are out of town
* bake cookies for an assisted living facility and deliver them
* clean up the yard of a neighbor who needs help
* walk the neighborhood and clean up trash
* help out during an event (community yard sale, religious function, etc.)
* ...there are so many more ideas and the class looks forward to your original activity

Poster Board Project

Please follow these guidelines so your child's project can be displayed on the classroom wall for the week.
* The size can be up to 28x22, any color, and must be flat (no tri-folds).
* Be creative and decorate with color (crayons, markers, colored paper, glitter, ribbon, flowers, lace, stickers, etc).
* Drawings or photos of your child engaging in their Great-Hearted activity make if fun to view and easier for them to explain.
